Quality

The quality department's stated objective is 'to ensure that the quality of our shipments meets the demands of our customers.' The two main quality-control & HVI testing offices in Birkenhead and Johannesburg work with satellite facilities located at all production operations. Together they oversee an ongoing programme of quality assurance covering everything from seed-selection to samples distribution, from seed-cotton sorting to lint classification, storage and shipping. The department continually monitors the quality of cotton deliveries from both partner and third party suppliers, providing technical assistance and relaying client feedback to ensure that quality management is an active and ongoing process.
